Gilly Thompson, (ILM Level 7 Coach and Mentor, Level 5 Leadership and Management, BA (hons) Tap and DiSC Certified) is a qualified learning and development professional who specialises in leadership and sales living in Wilmslow, near Manchester.
Gilly is an experienced sales trainer and international speaker on sales development. She has a reputation for her work in enabling fast growth tech companies get to market faster and more effectively and amongst her clients are Funding Circle, Tessian and Otta.
She also delivers several academic leadership programmes for the Institute of Leadership and Management.
Having won several awards for personal sales achievement at FTSE 100 companies including: Salesperson of the Year in 2007 and 2008 at Durex Condoms she then held several senior sales roles as a Key Account Director as well as Sales leadership roles in Pharmaceuticals before moving into learning and development.
She uses her 30 years of commercial experience working for several blue-chip organisations including IBM, BT, and Marks and Spencer to enable organisations to create training programmes that deliver transformational outbound growth for their people and businesses.
